Reducer

Concentric and eccentric reducers, made with certified materials and high-precision machining. Designed to ensure flow continuity and mechanical strength.

Product details

A Reducer is a pipe fitting used to connect two pipes of different diameters, allowing a smooth transition between them. Their purpose is to reduce the pipe size to control flow rate, pressure, or fit system design requirements. There are two types of reducers, concentric reducer (both ends share the same centerline; used in vertical piping or where alignment is not an issue) and eccentric reducer (ends are offset; commonly used in horizontal piping to prevent air pockets). Manufactured in special steels such as Duplex, Super Duplex and 800H, they can be produced in heavy wall thicknesses and according to custom drawings, with FEM analyses and in-house testing that guarantee geometric precision, reliability and long-term durability.
