A Lateral Tee is a specialized type of tee fitting where the branch connection comes off the main run at an angle other than 90°, typically 45°. It is usually implemented to create a branch line at an angle, which helps reduce turbulence and pressure drop compared to a standard 90° tee. Manufactured in special steels such as Duplex, Super Duplex and 800H, they can be produced in heavy wall thicknesses and according to custom drawings, with FEM analyses and in-house testing that guarantee geometric precision, reliability and long-term durability.
