DIRECTIVE (PED) 2014/98/EU
The European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/98/EU fixes the requirements for security of the pressure equipment. The producer of wrought butt welded fittings must operate with a Quality Management System according to ISO-9001. Such system must be certified based on the specific evaluation of the materials produced by a competent operating organism in the European Community.

HAS ACHIEVED THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATION:
LLOYD’s Register n° 0030014 of 24-04-2023 approval certification according to ISO 9001:2015 with the specific note that the Quality System satisfies the requirements indicated in Annex I Sect. 4.3 of the European Directive PED 2014/68/EU.

TÜV n° DGR-0036-QS-W 024/2002/MUC-001 of 04-12-2022 approval certification specifying that the Quality System is in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU Annex I, Par 4.3 (PED).

VIRGILIO CENA & FIGLI S.p.a. can supply product and documentation conformed to the PED, according to EN 10253-2. These conditions are nonetheless open to technical and commercial discussions to be defined by the parties officially in the purchase order.
